using drones for my home inspections helps me complete your inspection safely, more efficiently, and more quickly
Safety Using a drone to collect aerial photos and video of a roof can replace the need for an inspector to climb onto and walk across the roof, which is one of the most dangerous parts of any home inspection.
Accessibility Some roofs are completely inaccessible because they’re too high, too steep, too wet, or they’re made of materials such as clay tiles that make walking on them dangerous. Using a drone gives me an easy method for collecting visual data on the condition of a roof without having to climb the building and walk across it.
Customer satisfaction But using a drone, I don’t have to be deterred by inaccessible roofs, and can help make my customers happy by collecting all the information needed to assess the value of a piece of property. Other inspectors may not be able to provide information and it will cost a customer more to hire a roofing company or risk moving forward without all the information. Efficiency Drones can make roof inspections much more safe and efficient by providing me with a quick review of the entire structure, highlighting potential problem areas that may need more attention or that may present safety risks. For example, drones can allow me to see where a roof may be sagging or may have a weak spot, and this information can be invaluable for inspectors when they climb onto the roof to perform their manual inspection. Marketing Who doesn’t love a good aerial shot? My customers and realtors have reported that the drone provides an additional value with aerial video and photos that they can use to showcase the quality of their work and catch the eye of potential clients.
Wireless tracked inspection robot for difficult areas
This inspection crawler robot uses a High Definition Camera mounted and High power LED lights allowing for good visibility in dark places. With these features, the low profile mobile robot allows me to have great coverage and the ability to see in detail in difficult to reach areas. A separate transmitter sends the video image back without any lag. This crawler robot is ideally suited for crawl spaces under houses and in attics when inspecting houses. Video can be recorded directly onto an SD card in the camera for full HD viewing.
Remote Inspection - Remotely inspect areas that are not easily accessible to people. Record the video in Full HD on the provided Camera and SD Card.
Entry into difficult areas - This tracked robot has the ability to traverse many obstacles that often stop other robots.
Crawl Space and Attic Inspection - Compact and lightweight to easily fit into crawl spaces or attics. Video is viewed using the included 7-inch monitor mounted to the controller. A wireless signal must be maintained. Not recommended for pipes, culverts, long distances, etc. where the wireless signal will not work.
